Featured Tools
Latest Stata Packages
Three free packages available on SSC, each with a full reference manual and YouTube tutorial.
regproject
Post-estimation projection and boundary analysis. Produces publication-quality graphs for cross-sectional, time-series, and panel data automatically.
coefconv
Computes 26 re-expressions of every regression coefficient across seven interpretation families, including elasticities and Pratt’s R² decomposition.
xtqrplot
Entity-specific marginal effects from panel quantile regression. Supports xtqreg and qregpd estimators with heat-mapped visualisations.
Coefficient Converter (Excel)
Multi-sheet Excel workbook converting raw regression coefficients into 26 marginal effect types — no Stata installation required.
About
About Econistics
Dr Noman Arshed
Econistics is a professional econometrics research and consulting platform founded by Dr Noman Arshed, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Analytics at Sunway Business School, Sunway University.
The platform develops and distributes free, open-source tools for the global research community — including Stata packages published on the Statistical Software Components (SSC) archive, downloadable Excel calculators, and browser-based research apps — with the goal of making rigorous quantitative methods more accessible to researchers, students, and practitioners.
Dr Arshed’s work spans panel data econometrics, quantile regression, post-estimation analysis, and applied research methods. He has developed multiple reusable research infrastructure tools and pedagogical materials used by academics and graduate students worldwide.
